LETTER FROM GOD TO WOMEN....

My Precious Daughter,
When I created the heavens and the earth, I spoke them into being.

When I created man, I formed him and breathed life

into his nostrils. But you, woman, I fashioned after I

breathed the breath of life into man because your nostrils

are too delicate. I allowed a deep sleep to come over

him so I could patiently and perfectly fashion you.

Man was put to sleep so that he could not interfere with

the creativity.

From one bone, I fashioned you. I chose the bone

that protects man's life. I chose the rib, which protects

his heart and lungs and supports him, as you are

meant to do. Around this one bone I shaped you...

I modeled you.

I created you perfectly and beautifully.

Your characteristics are as the rib, strong yet delicate

and fragile. You provide protection for the

most delicate organ in man, his heart.

His heart is the center of his being; his lungs

hold the breath of life.

The rib cage will allow itself to be broken before

it will allow damage to the heart.

Support man as the rib cage supports the body.

You were not taken from his feet, to be under him,

nor were you taken from his head, to be above him.

You were taken from his side, to stand beside him and

be held close to his side.

You are my perfect angel...

You are my beautiful little girl.

You will or have grown to be a splendid woman

of excellence, and my eyes fill when I see the virtues

in your heart.

Your eyes, don't change them.

Your lips, how lovely when they part in prayer.

Your nose, so perfect in form.

Your hands so gentle to touch

Live simply.

Love seriously.

Care deeply.

Speak kindly.

Leave the rest to GOD

Halloween

There are NO words possible to explain my thinking this year. You may ask why I put my self through such mortification...it makes me laugh! But I had no idea how embarrassing it may have been for others to be seen next to me. So to all my loved ones, friends, co-workers, and the random person who followed me down the UVU hallway...thank you for not judging me and still being my friend after Halloween:)

Which One?

Take the GRE which is more quantitative or take the MAT which is more analytical?
I do better with my analytics but not so well with guantitativeness!
The one plus side to the MAT, it is cheaper!
For my last semester as an undergraduate I am taking Independent Studies to study for whichever test I end up taking. If anyone has more info, it would be greatly appreciated!

What An Amazing Experience

Steven is serving his mission in Tucson, Arizona and now has officially been gone for over a month and a half...close to two months, wow! The letter's that he writes are so upbeat and full of the spirit. Here are some pictures from his mission:

#1: The Pink Palace, the double wide they live in.

#2: His awesome bike!

#3: His first baptism, Cody ("with the shaved head").

#4: His first dog attack:( Yes, that is a paw print!

"True, enduring happiness, with the accompanying strength, courage, and capacity to overcome the greatest difficulties, will come as you center your life in Jesus Christ. Obedience to His teachings provides a secure ascent in the journey of life. That takes effort. While there is no guarantee of overnight results, there is the assurance that, in theLord's time, solutions will come, peace will prevail, and happiness will be yours." Richard G. Scott (Ensign, Nov. 2006)

Dove

In my Abnormal Psychology class I am doing a presentation on eating disorders and I found this amazing ad done by Dove on self image. I love how they have put it together and show how much media affects each one of us but especially children.
